In Xirokambi
The TALETON is a thirty-bed, first class hotel. It has three rooms and seven two-storey suites each with a sitting area, fireplace, fully-equipped bathroom, telephone, access to the Internet, satellite television, mini-bar and safe.
TALETON, the highest peak of Mount Taygetos, lends its name to this traditional inn which reveres the land and respects its traditions. Winter and summer, ventilation, heating and cooling are effected through a bio-climatic system (roof-top ventilation, geothermal heating). The garden with its flowers, trees, shrubs and beautiful fountain is irrigated using rainwater, collected in an underground cistern. Guests can enjoy a well-provisioned organic breakfast buffet in the breakfast room, close to both the courtyard and the sitting room with its fireplace and bar. Accommodation for participants of our workshops is 60 euro per person per night on basis of a two-storey suite shared by 2 persons. Price includes breakfast and taxes. For participants of the 4- and 6-day workshops, these hotel costs are already included. The Taleton opened its doors in May 2009 and is located 350 meters from our workshop accommodation. Faris Inn A 20-minute drive into the mountains takes you to Faris, a traditional inn located in the heart of central Eastern Taygetus on St-Lias Golas. The Inn is situated on highest point of the biological farm of the family Kokkoros, and offers a panoramic view of Taygetos and the Lacedaemon Valley. The Inn is made of ash, ochre and reddish-green local stone, and has 10 spacious rooms and one mini-suite. All rooms have a private balcony with splendid view. A rich breakfast is offered with pure, local ingredients. The traditional restaurant with fireplace serves traditional dishes, with ecological ingredients from the estate. Ilaeira Mountain Resort Ilaeira Mountain Resort is located in a small vintage village called Toriza up into the mountains at 850m height, 10 km from Xirokambi. The hotel is built as a small village with colourfull houses and gardens. The suites and houses all offer a the most magnificent view and are carefully designed, with spacious interior combining warmth and elegance. Guests are served a home made breakfast.
