June 13: Summer has begun. Schools are closed, temperatures are getting higher and higher and the Evrotas valley is losing its fresh green colours. We get up before dawn to see the sun rise over Xirokambi and enjoy the freshness of the day.

Wherever you are in Laconia, you can enjoy the incredible sight of the mighty Taygetos Mountains – the highest of the Peloponnese. It's a paradise for nature and photography lovers. Huge plane, oak and pine trees cover the slopes. The gorges and the endless olive groves hide small ancient sites, old churches, monasteries, and traditional villages.

Our photo tours and workshops are organised in Xirokambi, a Greek village close to Sparta and Mystras, in the shadow of these mountains. Have a lot of fun and experience the unique surroundings.
